How can I donate money for the relief effort?
Many organizations are collecting money for the relief effort and the victims' families following the Sept. 11 tragedies. You make a secure donation online to some charities through the American Liberty Partnership. This site was set up by AOL Time Warner, Yahoo!, Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Amazon.com and eBay to help facilitate donations. New York State set up the WTC Relief Info site, which offers access to financial information of the charities collecting donations for the victims.
See the individual charity and foundation sites for more information.
