How can I buy Patriot Bonds?
The Treasury Department has designated Series EE savings bonds as Patriot Bonds. The funds raised by the bonds, while not earmarked for a specific purpose, will contribute to the federal government's overall effort to fight the war on global terrorism.
Patriot Bonds are sold through financial institutions and online at TreasuryDirect. The bonds are available in denominations of $50, $75, $100, $200, $500, $1,000, $5,000 and $10,000.
