President Obama and his wife Michelle earned $845,000 in 2011, down from $1.7 million in 2010. Tax filings also showed the Obama's paid $162,000 in federal income taxes, down from $453,770 in 2010. They also donated $172,000 to 39 charities, compared with $245,075 in 2010.
